What is Yin Yoga

Yin Yoga is a practice in which we focus on long-held asanas to zero in on deep connective tissue, creating flexibility and mental resilience. Deeply introspective in nature, Yin is a wonderful way to unwind and relax more profoundly as well as an amazing preparation for pranayama and meditation. Train in this transformative style with us. Graduate from this expertly led course with confidence, skills and knowledge to teach a dedicated Yin class or as a magical way to end a dynamic flowing class.

On this training course, you will learn how to teach yin in a way that is inclusive and safe for everyone.

“I completed the 40-hour Yin Training with Melanie Cooper, and it has transformed my teaching and personal practice. The comprehensive training, expert guidance, and deep immersion into Yin Yoga were profound. The Course Structure

The training hours of this course are set at 40. This course blends in person and pre-recorded online learning with assignments.

There are two days live: Saturday 16th March – Sunday 17th March 2024,  plus 16 hours of on demand pre-recorded material available for 1 year.

Prior to the course, you will be given access to the pre-recorded online content and advised as to what materials should be studied prior to the in person element of the course.

There is an online meeting Friday 1st march 630pm in which Melanie will talk you through these materials and how to approach the course. If you cannot make this, please don’t panic – we will record it and send it to you.

Assignments

The course consists of pre/post course study by way of reading, practice, reviewing pre-recorded content and some simple assignments. Not everything will need to be undertaken before the in-person element of the course. We will send you a list of priorities so you can decide which elements to start with.
